The Tigers had a good day on Saturday against the Blues “B” and Friends. The Blues pulled some Dry Gulch Renegades and some
Tiger Old Boys together to give the Tigers a practice run before conference play. The Tigers took advantage of the opportunity to hone their offensive strategy and to work on much needed defense work.
All areas of the game looked better and the coaches were pleased with the progress the team has made over the past few weeks.
We will need these skills in proper form for our match against SIRC powerhouse MTSU, when the two meet at Memorial Field this Saturday, September 19.
Here is how the scoring went for the Tigers:
In the first half, tries were scored by Kevin
Shegog (2), Graham, Wallace Kwasu, and a conversion by Jacob Scott.
Halftime score 22-14.
In the second half, tries were scored by Musa Banat, Wallace Kwasu (2), Tevin,
Sam Toliver, with 4 converstions by Jacob Scott.
Final Score 55-38
