Memphis v. UAB 9/28/2019 Logistics

Memphis takes on UAB in a friendly this Saturday (9/28). The Tigers are very excited and everyone should have a blast. We have enhanced our game day experience with new bleachers, sound system and great rugby.

Location: Memorial Field: 451 Zach Curlin Street Memphis

Kick-off 1:00pm CDT

Referee: TBD

Steve Williams will have some Tiger bling to sell so bring a few dollars. Bring a lawn chair and sit on the south side of the field.

Post match social will be after the match at Newby’s. Make a plan to hang with your favorite Tiger player after the match.

Tigers vs Georgia Tech

The Memphis Tigers will take on Georgia Tech this Saturday (9/14) at 12 noon at Memorial Field on the campus of University of Memphis. The field is located on top of the hill at 451 Zach Curlin Street. Park and walk across the street. Bring a lawn chair and sit on the track on the south side. Rest room facilities are available in the Elma Rhone field house.

Kick off: 12:00 – There will be a “B” match to follow.

Social will be immediately following the second match and will be held at Newbies. Tiger fans are invited to enjoy the new Newbys on the Highland strip.  The renovation of Newbys makes the bar a fun place to visit.  The charm of the old Newbys remains but the facility is cleaner and nicer. Gotta check it out.

Tiger Rugby Gear will be available to purchase at the field and for those making donations. The gear will be available before an during the game.
